Brainwashed and outnumbered, they are saved by Erina, who reveals the truth about their situation. To rescue their friends, Joker and Morgana must form an alliance with Erina and the Rebel Corps. Additionally, they encounter Toshiro Kasukabe, a Japanese politician whose presence in The Kingdoms is shrouded in mystery.

The second kingdom in The Kingdoms is set in mid-19th century Japan and ruled by Yoshiki. Although Yoshiki takes on the appearance of Buddha, he conceals a turbulent heart. The Phantom Thieves will disguise themselves as samurai, ninja, and geisha as they navigate this intriguing setting.

Persona 5 Tactica introduces a grid-based battle system, departing from the turn-based battles typically associated with the series. In addition to targeting enemies and healing allies, players will have control over character placement on the tactical map.
